Doc Rock is a band devoted to classic rock and roll. The band was founded around 1991 by Joe Rosin an internist and Larry Feinman, a surgeon who both practice in Largo, Florida. It was an ambitious attempt to fulfill a long held passion to form a rock and roll band. They wanted to fulfill their life long passion of playing the songs they enjoyed, for people they liked. They were joined by Steve LeVine an accomplished musician, also is a surgeon. With his vast array of musical knowledge and trivia, he became the musical director for the group. Soon the band was getting requests to play at parties and cabarets around the area. Mitch Kroungold, a clinical psychologist, became a member of the group since Steve's keyboard was beyond repair. Mitch had one that worked. He has been a valuable addition, not only on keyboard and guitar but he has brought new members to the group who have continued to expand the repertoire of the band. The band now has hundreds of songs they include in their varied performances around the Tampa Bay area. Maryann Harman, who has her own music production company: "Music with Mar." has been lead singer for the past several years. Chris Wilson has joined us on bass. He is a doing his cardiology fellowship at Northside Hospital. By the way, Steve is now on his third keyboard!
